Supporting new and existing infection prevention and control nurses

The College strives to provide a service for all members.

Many IPC nurses work alone in this role within their organisations. This can be especially daunting and the College recognises that novice IPC nurses as well as those who work "in a team of one" may benefit from being able to access expert advice and support.

The attached document lists the names and contact deatils for a number of experienced IPCNC members who are willing to provide advice and support if they are contacted.

In some instances you may like to contact the College Regional Co ordinator for your area who may be able to link you up with a resource person who is within your reach!

Please note that this is not a formal mentoring programme but  rather the provision of a resource that may be beneficial for some IPC nurses.

If you are an experienced IPC nurse and are willing to offer advice and support for novice or sole IPC nurses please send your contact details to the College Secretary.
